Some Spotted rules and statistics for you...

Spotted Torquay first appeared on facebook in August 2013 and now has over 12k fans. I recieved between 50-150 messages a day.
Not all messages can be posted due to their content - I will not post messages

• Containing names or business names (unless the named individual gives consent)
• Containing too many profanities (as I have to spend time editing)
• That don't make sense (if I don't understand it, chances are no one else will)
• Re. items for sale/wanted/free (there are plenty of selling sites)
• Re. accomodation to let/wanted (google can help you)
• That are advertising (I will post for charities for free but please remember I run this page for free and spend up to 5 hours a day checking/updating it. It has the biggest reach of any local site, if you want to advertise, it will cost you a beer at very least!)

The majority of the time I will inform people why their message isn't being posted although this isn't always possible if there are a number of messages (Simply don't have the time)

Since Spotted Torquay started in August, 19 people have been banned. 18 men and 1 woman. Which sounds a lot but out of the 12k+ fans (And considering our reach was over 250k for the past 28 days)
it's not too bad and it's getting less. Only one person has been banned in the past 4 weeks (And he was removed today)

The shortest time between someone messaging me and the re-messaging to ask why their message isn't on the wall is 2 minutes. This was in the middle of the night. I am not a robot, I do need sleep and I cannot be online 24/7. I did not post their message ('Tell the girl in so and so bar that they are hot blah blah')
